On June 8th Greening Greenpoint planted new trees in the Park! Two flowering Kwanzan Cherries were planted by the Monitor statue.

Summer season has begun in McGolrick park marked by the appearance of the pavilion tables and chairs. Thank you Down to Earth Market for helping us get the chairs out on Sundays!
Thank you PS110 The Monitor School for planing a new tree in the park!! The tree planting was part of PS110’s community service day, May 15th, 2016 – Giving Back to the Future. We all look forward to watching the new tree grow along with the PS110 students!!
The McGolrick Park proposal to GCEF was approved – with $562,056 in new funding that will go towards restoring and revitalizing our beloved park.
Thanks to all of you that came out to vote – your voice mattered! The McGolrick park came in #1 with 69% of voters supporting it. This shows the power we have to make change in our community.
