We all had a wonderful time at the first McGolrick Park Halloween Spooktacular! Over 50 people volunteered for this event and over 1,000 were in attendance. Thank you to the Good Wife and Broadway Stages with out whose support we would not have been able to have a free Halloween activities, including Pumpkin decorating and a spooking hay maze. The day was organized by our group, Social Pants, Park Church Co-op, and P.S.1.
August 25 was MPNA's First Movie Night. Almost 500 came out to enjoy Goonies, popcorn, Van Leeuwen ice cream and of course our wonderful park.
During movie night, we recognized Broadway Stages and specifically the time and contributions that Gina and Tony Argento have made to make one of Greenpoint’s treasures a great place for families. Both have participated in our park's clean ups events and worked on garnering additional support from area businesses for MPNA. Movie night could not have happened without Broadway Stages’ generous support. Pictured below are Gina and Tony Argento, along with MPNA Steering Committee Members and Councilman Levin.
