May 3: McGolrick Nature Walks - Pollinators and Insects with Jay Holmes
You may already be familiar with pollinators like bees and butterflies but did you know other insects such as flies and beetles are pollinators too? Join Jay Holmes from the American Museum of Natural History as he returns to McGolrick to check in with our insects and pollinators! Jay will provide an overview of the main groups of insect pollinators—including their life cycles and habitat requirements. There will be insect specimens for viewing with magnifying glasses.
